Creative Mozart Concert

On April 22, 2023, the Creative Mozart Concert, co-organized by the Austrian Embassy in China, Austrian Cultural Forum Beijing, and InterCulture, was held at InterCulture Space, Wenlifang Square, Ersha Island.

Dr. Jasmin Gong, co-founder of InterCulture, delivered the opening speech; H.E. Andreas Riecken, Austrian Ambassador to China, addressed the audience. The program included piano solo, violin concerto, vocal recital, jazz trio, and performance by the West-Eastern Divan Band. Performers included Germany-trained pianist Vincent Huang, Austria-trained violinist Heidi Liao, Austrian singer Michael Feigl, and Korean pianist Jinsoul Chae. The jazz trio performed Turkish March; the West-Eastern Divan Band creatively interpreted Autumn Moon over Calm Lake and Bach’s Bourrée.

Following Creative Beethoven (2021) and Creative Bach (2022), InterCulture presented another crossover music feast, looking forward to more creative cultural events in the future.
