Shunde Listed Enterprises Overseas Salon
As one of the regions with the strongest economic vitality and highest openness in China, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area boasts a complete industrial system and prominent cluster advantages. As an important manufacturing city in the Greater Bay Area, Foshan has 80 listed companies, 44 of which are located in Shunde District. Most of them are hidden champions in the industry with global competitiveness in home appliances, machinery equipment, building materials, electronic information and other fields.
To help local listed enterprises and leading enterprises in Shunde seize the opportunities of global development, actively explore overseas markets and effectively avoid cross-border operational risks, on October 22, 2024, the "Riding the Tide and Sailing Global — Shunde Listed Enterprises Overseas Salon", guided by the Shunde Bureau of Science and Technology, hosted by Shenzhen Panorama Network Co., Ltd. and the Shunde Listed Companies Association, and co-organized by Xinfu Think Tank and InterCulture, was successfully held at the Foshan Advanced Manufacturing Financial Agglomeration Area.
The salon focused on five core topics: trends of Chinese enterprises going global, analysis of overseas market policies, challenges of cross-cultural management, cross-border risk prevention and control systems, and strategic layout of brand internationalization. It aimed to provide authoritative interpretation, practical guidance and resource docking for Shunde enterprises going global, helping "Shunde Manufacturing" leap to "Shunde Brand" globalization.
The event specially invited Ms. Song Xin, founder of Xinfu Think Tank and the first Chinese planning consultant of the European Parliament, to deliver a keynote speech titled "Chinese Enterprises Going Global: Opportunities Scanning and Market Selection in Overseas Markets". From the dimensions of the evolution of the global economic and trade pattern, differences between European, American and Southeast Asian markets, corporate cultural adaptation strategies, key points of overseas compliant operation and practical skills of investment site selection, combined with a large number of real cases, Ms. Song presented an in-depth interpretation with both international vision and practical value to the representatives of nearly 30 listed and pre-listed enterprises in Shunde.
As a professional institution with more than ten years of in-depth experience in Sino-European cross-cultural exchanges, InterCulture provided one-stop supporting services such as European market access consultation, cross-cultural communication training, brand overseas landing planning and international resource docking (government/chamber of commerce/channel) for enterprises on site. With rich local European resources and practical experience, it helped Shunde enterprises layout the global market in a stable, efficient and compliant manner.
The on-site interaction was enthusiastic. Enterprise representatives had in-depth exchanges with guests and peers on practical issues such as the selection of overseas development paths, cross-border tax planning, intellectual property protection, cross-cultural team management and European channel construction, colliding ideas, sharing experience, docking resources and reaching a number of preliminary cooperation intentions.
The successful holding of this event further built an exchange and cooperation platform for the multi-linkage of Shunde government, enterprises and international institutions, strengthened the confidence and ability of Shunde enterprises to go global, and injected new momentum into the high-quality development and internationalization upgrading of Shunde's manufacturing industry.
